about

Back in December I lost one of my best and most beloved friends. He was always there for me when I needed him. When I would come home from school or work, he would be standing there wagging his tail and be so happy. One of the cutest and funniest things that he would do is run around the room like a maniac when he would get all riled up. The most amazing thing was that he was quite old for a dog, and he acted like he was still a puppy. He was one of the most loving dogs that I have ever known.

However, in his last two weeks or so, he began to become very slow and would barely be able to walk to even eat his food. He was sick all of the time and I could feel his spine when I would touch his back because he became so malnourished. On his final day, I received a text from my aunt telling me that we needed to go the animal ER. That's when I knew what was going to happen. On the way the ER, I had learned that he had been suffering from a cancerous tumor in his stomach and it had burst; we decided that the best thing to do was to put him down. We stayed with him, held him, loved him, told him how much meant to us, how our other dog Benji was going to miss him, Eventually we told the nurse that it was time, euthanized him while we were still holding him, and he was gone in almost in an instant. He was 14 years old

RIP Brady (2003 - 2017)
Thank you for all of the love and memories. You'll always be my favorite and most beloved dog.
